Tochnit Olam (overseas program) is a highly successful program
allowing students to develop on a personal basis and to acquire the skills that ensure them to make a significant contribution to any Israeli or
Diaspora community in which they live. Tochnit Olam stands for excellence in learning as well as openness to the world outside the Beit Midrash
Tochnit Olam is an intensive learning experience, offering a unique approach to learning combing the classical yeshiva approach with the academic approach to learning. Students are strongly encouraged to ask questions. The students strive to arrive at a purposeful understanding of religious life in the modern era. The mornings are devoted to the in-depth study of Talmud, and the daily program continues with shiurim on an extensive list of topics that include; Tanach (iyun and bekiut), Jewish Philosophy, Halakha, Prayer, Homiletics, Jewish History, Contemporary Jewish and Israeli issues and a weekly sicha from the Rosh Yeshiva.
Yeshivat Hakibbutz Hadati recognizes that knowledge of Hebrew is an essential tool that facilitates progress in Torah studies. As part of the program, students learn the language in an intensive ulpan that provides classes for both beginners and the more advanced students.
Yeshivat HaKibbutz HaDati is an Israeli Yeshiva where overseas and Israeli students live and learn together.
Aside from the schedule of the overseas program there are chevrutot and shiurim together with your Israeli counterparts.
Integrated within the studies is an extensive hiking and trip schedule with a hike or trip every other week. In addition, volunteer work is offered one afternoon a week in an elementary school in a neighboring development town, Kiryat Malachi.
Yeshivat HaKibbutz HaDati works together with the Jewish Agency and the Israeli government in a program called Masa, offering financial assistance to students in the Tochnit Olam program.
