Rav Chanoch, married with six children, was born in Israel in 5717/1957 and now lives in Alon Shevut.

After his military service which he finished with the rank of Major, he studied in Yeshivat Har Etzion in 5744/1984 and between the years 5749/1989-5753/1993, and succeeded in gaining his Semikha from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel the following Year.

Rav Chanoch has a B.A. in Arabic and Arabic Literature and an M.A. in Hebrew Language from Tel Aviv University.

Rav Chanoch speaks Hebrew and English and has taught at Yeshivat Hakibbutz Hadati since 5754/1994.
